A multidisciplinary performer, creator, and educator originally from
A graduate of Sheridan College’s prestigious Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program, she is also the co-founder of Kitbag Theatre—PEI’s vibrant independent theatre company.
Onstage, Melissa is known for her grounded, warm presence and vocal prowess, from legit soprano to big brassy belt. Offstage, she shares her love of storytelling as a vocal and acting-through-song coach.
When she’s not performing or teaching, you can find her curled up with a good book, chasing the ocean breeze, or hanging with her perfect pup, Teddy (and probably a bag of Spicy Doritos).
